The new 2016 Lexus RX 350 looks slightly larger in dimension than its predecessors which will ensure more room for passengers. The exterior of the car includes a new front grille and redesigned headlights. The body of the car will be built with more aluminum and other lighter materials in order to make the car as lightweight as possible to ensure optimum performance. Further, it is expected to feature an aluminum hood and tailgate. Another improvement in the exterior of the car will be in the reduction in the amount of noise in the cabin.

2016 Lexus RX 350: Engine and Fuel Economy
The mid-sized 2016 Lexus RX 350 will equip both a gas and hybrid engine. It is expected to be powered by a new and powerful V8 engine which will provide an output of 350 horsepower. This will take over from the 3.5 L V6 VVT engine that produces an output of 270 hp and about 240 lb-ft of torque. The engine of the base version of the 2016 Lexus RX 350 will be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and another version will be paired by a eight-speed automatic transmission along with an option of manual transmission as well. Also in the offering is a hybrid version of the car about which not much is known at the moment. The electric motors in the hybrid powertrain will deliver an additional output of 100 horsepower. Moreover, the 2016 Lexus RX 350 is expected to provide an improved fuel economy of around 20/26 mpg. However, these numbers will rise if Lexus chooses to include turbo-charging. If that becomes the case, then the fuel economy could rise to about 28/35 mpg.
2016 Lexus RX 350: Release Date and Price
Although there is no official word on the release date of the 2016 Lexus RX 350, it was being expected to arrive in March this year. But, now it is believed that it won’t arrive before November this year. Further, the mid-sized luxury crossover will cost around $ 52 000 and further upgrades can make the car worth of about $ 60 000 as well.
