The new diesel engine for the 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is capable of tackling any tough terrain. The power and the torque delivery is highly suited for most challenging terrains with the driving input being a contributing factor for a smooth ride. The current engine specs are 2TR-FE 2.7L engine produces about 120kW. The 1GD-FTV 2.8L diesel engine is good for producing about 130kW of power and 450Nm of torque. Also, the modern six-speed transmission provides no loss of composure or momentum while shifting the gears.
